By creating an account or using PharmPrep ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and PharmPrep.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement. The Service is intended for individuals preparing for the PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- PharmPrep offers a free tier and a Pro subscription billed monthly or annually.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- 14-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, request a full refund within 14 days of your initial charge — no questions asked. Contact us at the email below and we'll process it.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, access restrictions, or rate limits.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Service without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the Service's software or content.
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service.
6. Educational content disclaimer
PharmPrep content is designed to help you prepare for the PTCB exam. It is not a substitute for formal pharmacy technician education, professional judgment, or official regulatory guidance. We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors. Do not rely on PharmPrep content for clinical or regulatory decision-making.
PharmPrep is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. “PTCB” is a registered trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to describe the exam for which PharmPrep helps you prepare. All practice questions and study materials are original content created by PharmPrep.
7. AI-generated content
Some content and simulation responses are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude). AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify exam-critical information against official PTCB materials and your accredited training programme.
8. Intellectual property
All content, software, and trade marks in the Service are owned by or licensed to PharmPrep. Your study data (answers, scores, transcripts) belongs to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes only.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PharmPrep's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or exam failure.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the data deletion request form. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature survive termination will continue.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
